Forest Awakening - $15/person

An Introduction to Forest Bathing

Slow down. Breathe deeply. Experience the forest in a whole new way.

If you've been curious about forest bathing but aren't sure what it involves, this introductory session is the perfect place to begin.

Forest bathing, or Shinrin-Yoku, is a guided practice of immersing yourself in nature through your senses. Rather than focusing on distance or destination, you'll be invited to slow your pace, notice the world around you, and cultivate a deeper relationship with the forest.

Throughout the experience, your guide will offer a series of gentle invitations designed to help you engage with nature in ways that feel natural and accessible. There is no right or wrong way to participate, and sharing your experiences with the group is always optional.

This is not a hike, fitness activity, or naturalist tour. We'll move slowly over a short distance with frequent pauses, allowing plenty of time to observe, reflect, and simply be present.

Date: Thursday, July 26
Time: 10-11::30am

Location: Simcoe County (a more detailed location provided closer to the session)

Spaces are intentionally limited to create a more intimate experience. Early registration is recommended.

What to Expect

  • NO cell phones! You will be asked to turn off your cell phone or lock it in your vehicle
  • A brief explanation of the research behind forest bathing
  • Gentle movement (walking, sitting, standing) at Pinewood Hollow, provincial park, or local conservation area
  • Silence. The only person speaking (if at all) will be your guide
  • Stillness. Your time in the forest invites you to be introspective and personal, you will not be engaging with others

The Seeking Trail - $35/person

Walk in silence. Listen deeply. Discover what is waiting to be revealed.

The Seeking Trail is a unique forest bathing experience designed for those who have previously participated in a guided forest bathing session and are ready to explore a quieter, more personal practice.

This experience offers a silent, guided walk with minimal facilitation, creating space to bring a question, uncertainty, or important life decision into the forest. Rather than providing answers, your guide will gently hold the container for your experience, allowing insight to arise naturally through stillness, presence, and your relationship with the natural world.

At the beginning of the session, you'll be invited to set a personal intention. From there, you'll journey mostly in silence, moving slowly through the forest with time to observe, reflect, and notice what emerges. Many participants leave with a renewed sense of clarity, a fresh perspective, or a deeper trust in their own inner wisdom.

Date: Saturday, August 15th
Time: 10am-12pm
Location: Dufferin County (a more detailed location provided closer to the session)

Spaces are intentionally limited to preserve the quiet, intimate nature of this experience. Advance registration is recommended.
